This summer has been a blast on the road for DSO. After spending some time out west, we're excited to get back to the east coast! First up is Great South Bay Music Festival in Patchogue, NY. DSO will headline the four-day event on Saturday, July 20. Then we are heading to New Jersey for a very special show at the Stone Pony Summer Stage in Asbury Park on July 21! DSO will be recreating the Dead's epic 9/3/77 show from Englishtown, NJ. This show originally took place about 20 miles away from where we're playing. There are many more goodies in store for the East Coast and New England this summer. We'll catch you on the road!

This evening of music at an iconic venue will feature Dark Star Orchestra performing the Grateful Dead's 7/13/84 Greek Theatre show on its 40th anniversary! The celebration will commence with special guests Melvin Seals and JGB, and proceeds will benefit the Rex Foundation.
The Rex Foundation was created by "members of the Grateful Dead and Friends" and has a mission “to help secure a healthy environment, promote individuality in the arts, provide support to critical and necessary social services, assist others less fortunate than ourselves, protect the rights of indigenous people and ensure their cultural survival, build a stronger community, and educate children and adults everywhere.”

The Colorado weather is perfect in July, so it's the best time to spend your 4th of July weekend partying with DSO! The band will do a run of shows starting on July 3 at the Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater in Vail, followed by the band's return to The Mishawaka in Bellvue on July 4. DSO then makes a stop at Levitt Pavilion in Denver on July 5, followed by their 30th show at Colorado's Boulder Theater on July 6. Jeff Mattson and DSO will headline the Hoxeyville Spring Music Festival, taking place from May 31 to June 2 in Wellston, MI. This new musical event also will feature The Allman Betts Band, The Infamous Stringdusters, Leftover Salmon, Yonder Mountain String Band and others!
The Hoxeyville Farm is a picturesque 200-acre property in the heart of Michigan's Manistee National Forest. This new event is focused on music, camping, and immersion in the Northwoods. It will offer canoe trips Saturday and Sunday, music and ecology workshops, and plenty of food and craft vendors. Music on the Timber Stage will run from 5:00pm to midnight on Friday and Saturday, and 4:00-11:00pm on Sunday.
